Another option is to take a bus from Valencia bus station to Jávea. The bus ride takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. Once in Jávea, you can take a local bus or a cab to the beach. This option is more cumbersome and the truth is, eternally long.
You can also opt for a combination of public transport, taking a train from Valencia to Denia and then take a bus from Denia to Javea and finally a cab to Cala Granadella. But we still recommend making the trip by car.
