The Granadella viewpoint is located next to the Granadella Castle. The access to the viewpoint of Granadella is the beginning of the route to the castle. Therefore, we recommend that you follow the directions of the route of the Grandella Castle to get to the viewpoint.
The Granadella Castle is a fortress of the eighteenth century, which is part of the defensive system of the coast of the Kingdom of Valencia. Since 1996 it has been declared an Asset of Cultural Interest (BIC). Despite being the only place on the coast of Jávea that has public ownership, unfortunately it is in poor condition.

Granadella Castle is located on the Morro del Castillo, a rocky point that closes Granadella Bay to the south. This is the southernmost region of Javea. It can be reached on foot from the Camino Viejo del Morro del Castillo.
